The Urine24 urinary cytology examination is an advanced diagnostic procedure for early detection of cellular atypia potentially attributable to neoplasms of the urinary tract (bladder, ureter, kidney). Using Liquid-Based Cytology (LBC) technology and classification according to The Paris System guidelines, the examination ensures high diagnostic accuracy, sample standardization, and objective interpretation by qualified healthcare professionals (Anatomo-Pathologist and/or Cytoscreener).

Detection of atypical cells associated with high- and low-grade urothelial carcinomas.

How Urine24 works (at home)

1. Receipt of the Kit. After purchase, the patient receives a complete kit for self-collection of urine at home.
2. Specimen collection. The patient collects the second morning urination for three consecutive days, using the bottles with specific fixative contained in the kit.
3. Packaging and collection. At the end of the collection, samples are collected by a specialized courier from Poste Italiane, upon reservation through Urine24 Customer Service.
4. Laboratory analysis. Samples are analyzed at the laboratory of Hospitex International, with monolayer preparation and reading according to The Paris System.
5. Referral. The report is e-mailed to the patient within 5-8 working days.
